Overview

As a Principal Team Member you will be required to lead the delivery of information, data, analysis, modelling and appraisal solutions, and technical management and assurance that aid others in the production of recommendations and outputs. You will also be expected to lead the collaboration with others to deliver outcomes and will lead the improvement of existing processes and procedures.

• You will also be expected to lead the collaboration with others to deliver outcomes and will lead the improvement of existing processes and procedures.
• This appointment represents a unique opportunity to join an organisation still in its early days and help shape its future as detailed in our business plan (available via our website). This plan has several high priority commitments to deliver that are considered pivotal to northern transformation.
• Over the past two years they have developed the Analytical Framework, a suite of sector leading data, modelling and appraisal tools that look to model and appraise the transport system and economy, and link to other sectors. This includes predicting out to 2060 a number if scenarios that explore uncertainty around the vision. The development of these tools has been an innovative and challenging process; with the next phase to further industrialise them and apply them to develop robust evidence.

Qualifications

• Candidates must be educated to degree level or equivalent in a relevant subject, with a professional qualification or equivalent experience.
• You will also possess an excellent track record of successfully delivering projects and should be able to demonstrate leading collaborations with technical and non-technical audiences.
