About the Role

You will work closely with class teachers to provide high-quality support to pupils, both inside and outside the classroom. This includes helping children with their learning, emotional wellbeing, and day-to-day development.

Key Responsibilities

• Support teaching and learning activities under the guidance of the class teacher
• Deliver interventions to small groups or individuals
• Foster a positive, inclusive learning environment
• Provide tailored support to children with special educational needs (SEN)
• Help prepare classroom resources and displays
• Contribute to pupil assessments and progress tracking
• Promote positive behaviour and social development

What We're Looking For

• A genuine passion for working with children
• Experience in a primary school or educational setting (preferred but not essential)
• Strong communication and teamwork skills
• Patience, resilience, and a proactive attitude
• Teaching Assistant Level 2 or 3 qualification is a plus
• Must hold (or be willing to apply for) an enhanced DBS check
