Primary School Behaviour Mentor

We pride ourselves on supplying strong and dedicated support staff into schools we partner with, to ensure the students' learning and development needs are met.

We are seeking a committed and enthusiastic Primary School Behaviour Mentor to join our primary team. The successful candidate will work closely with class teachers to support learning across the curriculum and help create a positive and engaging classroom environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Support pupils' learning in the classroom, individually and in small groups
• Assist the class teacher with lesson preparation and classroom organisation
• Provide targeted support for pupils with additional needs (including SEND, where applicable)
• Encourage positive behaviour and promote inclusion
• Support pupils' emotional wellbeing and personal development
• Assist with playground supervision and school activities when required

The Ideal Candidate Will Have

• Experience working with primary-aged children (desirable but not essential)
• A positive, patient, and caring attitude
• Good communication and teamwork skills
• A commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children
• Relevant qualifications (e.g., Level 2 or Level 3 Teaching Assistant qualification - desirable)
