Job Description

I am currently working with a UtilitiesClient on an exciting Programme delivery manager opportunity. This is a Permanent role thatrequires 3 days a week in theirSussex office. They are looking for someone who can bring structure, governance and clarity to business led change.

Key responsibilities include:
  • Manage the delivery of the programme or portfolio, ensuring that all projects associated deliver to their outcomes for the business.
  • Prioritise and manage competing objectives, inter dependencies and risks to safeguard the overall programme or portfolio delivery
  • Embed change effectively through communication, stakeholder engagement, and benefit realization
  • Working with stakeholders to define scope and goals.
  • Coaching and motivating your team.
To be considered for this role, you must have:
  • Strong ability to identify and manage competing priorities across a wide range of portfolio activities.
  • Practical experience of ERP/S implementations
  • Excellent stakeholder management skills and a strong ability to drive engagement at a leadership level
  • Great leadership and communication skills
  • Experience managing multi million pound budgets and working with vendors
  • Commercial and strategic awareness
  • Experience leading teams across departments
  • Ideally Utilitiesor telecommunications experience.
  • Good knowledge of programme and project methodologies (e.g. Waterfall & Agile)
