Job Description
I am currently working with a UtilitiesClient on an exciting Programme delivery manager opportunity. This is a Permanent role thatrequires 3 days a week in theirSussex office. They are looking for someone who can bring structure, governance and clarity to business led change.
Key responsibilities include:- Manage the delivery of the programme or portfolio, ensuring that all projects associated deliver to their outcomes for the business.
- Prioritise and manage competing objectives, inter dependencies and risks to safeguard the overall programme or portfolio delivery
- Embed change effectively through communication, stakeholder engagement, and benefit realization
- Working with stakeholders to define scope and goals.
- Coaching and motivating your team.
- Strong ability to identify and manage competing priorities across a wide range of portfolio activities.
- Practical experience of ERP/S implementations
- Excellent stakeholder management skills and a strong ability to drive engagement at a leadership level
- Great leadership and communication skills
- Experience managing multi million pound budgets and working with vendors
- Commercial and strategic awareness
- Experience leading teams across departments
- Ideally Utilitiesor telecommunications experience.
- Good knowledge of programme and project methodologies (e.g. Waterfall & Agile)
