Job Description
We have partnered with a highly sought-after company in the Lloyd's market to find a Portfolio Analytics Manager. This role offers the opportunity to work closely with an impressive senior management team, including the CUO who is an actuary, and top underwriters across Re/Insurance.
The position is highly strategic, focusing on driving the profitability of an established book through portfolio analytics techniques. Responsibilities include:
- Working for a company that values actuarial input, with actuaries hired directly into underwriting roles and a culture that emphasizes data-driven decision making.
- Reporting to and collaborating daily with the Chief Analytics Officer and a talented board of directors.
- Leading a small team of skilled Portfolio Managers and Management Analysts.
- Collaborating with Underwriters, Actuaries, Data Scientists, Claims, and Data/Tech teams to enhance underwriting performance.
- Developing the portfolio analytics strategy and roadmap.
- Designing, delivering, and implementing pricing and analytics dashboards and tools to support underwriting.
Additional duties include monitoring portfolios, assisting in risk selection, improving pricing strategies, and supporting business planning.
