This post is part-time and permanent, working 17.5 hours per week. The salary stated above is the pro-rata amount, the full time salary would be £41086 - £46542 per annum (Incl. LWA)
The University of Westminster is looking to appoint a Placements Officer (Health) to support the delivery of high-quality clinical placements for students on professional health programmes. Based in the College Operations team within the Academic Registrar's Department, this role is central to ensuring placements are well coordinated, student-focused and fully compliant.
Reporting to the Director of College Operations, you will coordinate the clinical placement lifecycle, including allocations, pre-placement checks, record management, partner liaison and reporting. You will work closely with students, academic colleagues and healthcare providers to support a positive and well-managed placement experience.
You will bring experience from higher education, healthcare or another complex organisation, with strong coordination, administrative and stakeholder management skills. You will also be confident applying policies and regulatory requirements, handling sensitive data and maintaining accurate records.
We are looking for someone organised, proactive and detail-focused, with excellent interpersonal skills, sound judgement and a strong commitment to compliance, confidentiality and continuous improvement.
