Job Description
The University of East Anglia (UEA) invites applications for a fully funded 4-year PhD studentship in the School of Biological Sciences. The project investigates how DNA/RNA structures control nitrogen assimilation and N2O production in plant-associated bacteria, with small-molecule modulation explored.
Supervisors include Dr Andrew Gates (UEA) and Dr Yiliang Ding (John Innes Centre). The studentship covers tuition fees, a stipend (£21,805 for 2026/7), and a £5,000 annual Research Training
