• Managing a portfolio of Employer's Liability (EL) claims from initial instruction through to final resolution.
• Undertaking comprehensive legal research and delivering clear, well-reasoned legal advice to clients.
• Drafting and preparing key legal documentation, including pleadings and witness statements.
• Negotiating settlements and representing clients at court hearings where required.
• Operating effectively within a fast-paced, target-driven environment.
• Working collaboratively with colleagues to achieve successful case outcomes.
• Maintaining up-to-date knowledge of relevant legislation, legal developments, and regulatory changes.

Person Specification

• A proven track record of billing while managing a litigated caseload.
• Demonstrates strong determination and resilience in progressing cases.
• Committed to advancing claims through litigation where appropriate to achieve the best possible outcomes for clients.
• Ability to manage Employer's Liability (EL) fast-track cases. While the caseload is predominantly non-portal, experience working with the portal is required.
• Solid knowledge of the Civil Procedure Rules, legal precedents, and current litigation trends, with the ability to apply this knowledge strategically to secure favourable results for clients.
• Demonstrable experience handling litigated matters from initial instruction through applications and procedural challenges to trial or final disposal hearings.
• Previous experience using the Proclaim case management system would be advantageous.
