Job Description
About the role

Executive Assistant to the Managing Director of the Energy business at United Infrastructure. This role is more than diary management - you are a trusted partner to a senior business leader, driving strategic priorities across a fast paced division.

Responsibilities
  • Manage a complex and constantly evolving executive diary, aligning the Managing Director's time with business priorities.
  • Act as a trusted gatekeeper, managing communications and prioritising competing demands.
  • Prepare high quality meeting briefings, presentations and board papers.
  • Coordinate leadership meetings, operational reviews and governance forums across the Energy business.
  • Capture actions, track progress and ensure accountability after executive and board meetings.
  • Manage confidential correspondence and communications on behalf of the Managing Director.
  • Coordinate complex travel arrangements and produce detailed itineraries.
  • Organise leadership events, client meetings and business off sites from planning through to delivery.
  • Manage executive expenses and reconcile corporate credit card statements.
  • Work closely with Executive Assistants across the wider business to ensure seamless coordination of senior leadership activity.
  • Continuously identify opportunities to improve processes and ways of working.
Qualifications
  • Significant experience supporting senior executives, ideally at Managing Director or Board level.
  • Outstanding organisational and planning skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong commercial awareness and sound judgement.
  • Advanced Microsoft Office skills - Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, Teams, SharePoint.
  • Experience producing professional board papers, presentations and executive reports.
  • Proactive, solutions focused approach with exceptional attention to detail.
  • Absolute discretion and professionalism when handling confidential information.
  • Experience within infrastructure, engineering or operational businesses is advantageous but not essential.
