Job purpose

To assist with a variety of tasks which will enable the person who needs care and support to live their personal and social life according to their wishes and interests.

This role may involve occasional overnight support.

About the employer

Our client is a 37 year old female living in the Northwich area of Cheshire with her family who is looking to recruit a Personal Assistant to provide support for 8-12 hours per week.

Our client has a spinal cord injury, which means she is permanently in a wheelchair.

• Medication support
• Help with meals
• Accompany the client to appointments, social activities and sports
• These duties may vary from day to day

Personal care when required.

Type of person that you/they are looking for

• Values: friendly and compassionate
• Specific requirements: Previous care experience would be an advantage. Must be a dog lover as the family have dogs.

Hours and pay

Hours of work: 8-12 hours per week - weekday evenings & sometimes weekends.

Rate of pay: £13.00 per hour and £13.50 per hour after 7 pm.

Additional requirements

Successful applicants will require DBS checks and Employment References.

This role is funded by the Local Authority and is paid four weekly.
