Key Responsibilities
  • Greet and assist customers at the pharmacy counter with a courteous and professional attitude.
  • Process prescription and over-the-counter medicine transactions accurately and efficiently.
  • Provide information on products, dosage instructions, and general health guidance as per pharmacy protocols.
  • Manage inventory, restock shelves, and ensure expiry dates are monitored and recorded.
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of the counter and work areas.
  • Handle cash, digital payments, and billing accurately.
  • Coordinate with pharmacists to clarify prescription details and resolve customer queries.
  • Adhere strictly to health, safety, and confidentiality regulations.
Required Skills and Qualifications
  • High school diploma or equivalent; a degree or certification in pharmacy assistance is a plus.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Strong attention to detail and numerical accuracy.
  • Basic computer skills and familiarity with POS systems.
  • Customer-focused with strong interpersonal skills.
Experience
  • Previous experience in a pharmacy, retail, or healthcare-related role is preferred but not mandatory.

Working Hours
  • Part-time schedule: 15-25 hours per week.
