Key Responsibilities- Greet and assist customers at the pharmacy counter with a courteous and professional attitude.
- Process prescription and over-the-counter medicine transactions accurately and efficiently.
- Provide information on products, dosage instructions, and general health guidance as per pharmacy protocols.
- Manage inventory, restock shelves, and ensure expiry dates are monitored and recorded.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the counter and work areas.
- Handle cash, digital payments, and billing accurately.
- Coordinate with pharmacists to clarify prescription details and resolve customer queries.
- Adhere strictly to health, safety, and confidentiality regulations.
- High school diploma or equivalent; a degree or certification in pharmacy assistance is a plus.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong attention to detail and numerical accuracy.
- Basic computer skills and familiarity with POS systems.
- Customer-focused with strong interpersonal skills.
- Previous experience in a pharmacy, retail, or healthcare-related role is preferred but not mandatory.
