Packing Operatives Wanted - Dorchester

We are currently recruiting Packing Operatives for a well-established local client based in Dorchester. Ongoing work is available from summer until early winter, with potential temp-to-perm opportunities for the right candidates.

This is an excellent opportunity for reliable individuals looking for stable weekday hours, weekly pay, and the chance to secure a longer-term role.

• £13.00 per hour
• Weekly pay
• Standard hours: 7:00am - 3:00pm
• No weekend working
• Ongoing work from summer until early winter
• Temp-to-perm opportunities available
• Overtime available during busy periods
• Accessible by public transport

• Immediate starts may be available

Please note: A 6:00am - 6:00pm shift pattern on a 4-day working week will be introduced for a special project lasting a few weeks.

The role will involve:

• Selecting and packing products accurately
• Carrying out quality checks to ensure products meet required standards
• Keeping the work area clean, tidy, and safe
• Following instructions and procedures correctly
• Working as part of a team to support smooth production
• Helping to meet daily production targets and KPIs
• Maintaining a good pace in a busy production environment

We're looking for people who have:

• Good attention to detail
• Basic maths skills
• The ability to work in a fast-paced environment
• Good communication skills
• A positive attitude and willingness to learn
• Reliability and a strong work ethic
• Previous manufacturing, packing, or production experience would be desirable, but is not essential
