Order Processing Administrator

Location: Braintree

Salary : £25,000 - £30,000

Benefits : 25 days holiday + bank holidays, parking on site, friendly, supportive team.

Our client, a leading organisation in their industry, is seeking a dynamic and detail oriented Order Processing Administrator to join their well established and friendly team. Key Responsibilities:
  • Accurately and efficiently process customer orders, ensuring all information is entered correctly and completed within agreed timescales.
  • Prepare and issue quotations, sales orders, and supporting documentation to facilitate smooth transactions.
  • Manage incoming telephone calls, professionally handling customer enquiries and directing calls to appropriate team members when needed.
  • Respond promptly and professionally to customer emails, maintaining the highest standards of customer service.
  • Provide administrative support to both the Sales team ensuring daily operations run seamlessly.
  • Maintain accurate customer records, databases, and filing systems in line with company procedures.
  • Liaise with suppliers and customers regarding orders, delivery schedules, stock availability, and any associated queries.
  • Assist with scheduling appointments, preparing documentation, and coordinating general office administration activities.
  • Contribute to maintaining a professional, organised, and welcoming office environment for colleagues, customers, and visitors.
Skills and Attributes:
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with a customer focused approach.
  • Strong organisational skills with a keen eye for detail and a high level of accuracy.
  • Ability to prioritise workload and manage multiple tasks effectively in a busy environment.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, including Outlook, Word, and Excel.
  • A positive, proactive attitude with a willingness to support colleagues and contribute to team success.
  • Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team.
