Operational Resilience Manager - Testing

The Operational Resilience Manager, Testing, sits within the Respond and Adapt resilience pillar of the BOI UK Operational Resilience team, which ensures the bank anticipates, responds to, and recovers from disruptions leading methodology and approach maturity, aligned with PRA/FCA regulations and industry best practices.
You will lead the full end-to-end delivery of OR testing activities including regulatory compliance against PS21/3 and PRA expectations, aligned to methodologies and approaches set within Identify and Prepare pillar and wider UK and Group testing activities. Collaborate closely with other Identify and Prepare, Respond and Adapt, and Recover and Learn Managers to ensure full alignment across the resilience lifecycle.
In this role, you will:- Define the testing strategy, scenario selection, and planning
- Maintain testing library to ensure range of scenarios are covered during testing
- Perform IBS testing, in collaboration with business units and wider stakeholders
- Support input of testing outcomes to annual operational resilience self-assessment
- Oversee and participate in wider resilience testing (ITSCM, tech / cyber, BCP, WPR)
- Perform control and assurance testing
- Lead or participate in retrospectives and lessons learned (depending on nature of testing)
- Input relevant testing outcomes and information into Operational Resilience annual self-assessment and governance fora, as required
- Support Crisis and Incident Management activities, as required, including participating in on-call rotation
Significant relevant experience in specialist role
Demonstrable knowledge and experience in operational resilience and testing.
Familiarity with crisis and incident management.
Ability to run projects, and lead in a cross-functional environment.
Strong communication skills.
Proactive, innovative, and adaptive mindset.
Strong analytical and planning skills.
Experience with UK regulatory frameworks and other relevant jurisdictional frameworks such as DORA.
