Head of Sales

Hours of Work

37.5 hours a week, Monday - Friday. On-site 4 days per week.

Responsibilities
  • Manage contacts and prospects onto CRM database.
  • Respond to sales enquiries by providing quotations, advising on lead times and confirming delivery dates for orders placed.
  • Manage and enhance the Phlux experience for designated clients and distributors from enquiry to invoice and delivery.
  • Provide input to sales forecasts for accounts under your responsibility.
  • Assist in hitting sales targets and applicable company objectives.
  • Follow up quotations issued and enter sample and sales orders.
  • Liaise with other departments to ensure on-time deliveries are made.
  • Assist the supply chain team in picking, checking and packing of goods prior to shipments when required.
  • Check all deliveries are transacted according to Phlux and customer needs.
  • Assist as directed with the above tasks when requested by your manager.
Qualifications, Skills and Experience
  • Experience in a B2B customer-facing role via email, phone and online meetings where professionalism and service standards count.
  • Technical qualification (vocational or academic) is optional; a can do attitude is essential.
  • Excellent communication skills with a proven ability to collaborate across multifunctional teams and stakeholders at all levels.
  • A good understanding of how a business executes its transactions and communications from early CRM engagement through the sales cycle, shipping internationally and the receivables process.
  • Eligible to work in the UK.
