Job Description
Our client is a well established international freight forwarding agent based in UB2 who have an new opportunity available for an office administrator. The successful candidate will be a highly organised and proactive Office Administrator who will support the smooth and efficient running of this busy logistics office. Responsible for handling a wide range of administrative and tasks, providing essential support to the wider team and ensuring day-to-day operations run seamlessly.
Key Responsibilities- Manage day-to-day office administration and support activities
- Answer and direct phone calls and manage email correspondence
- Maintain accurate filing systems (digital and paper-based)
- Schedule meetings, appointments, and maintain calendars
- Prepare documents, reports, and presentations
- Process invoices, expenses, and basic financial administration
- Order office supplies and manage stock levels
- Greet visitors and handle front-of-house duties
- Support administration such as onboarding, records, and holiday tracking
- Excellent organisational and time-management skills
- Strong written and verbal communication abilities
- High level of accuracy and attention to detail
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)
- Ability to multitask and prioritise workload effectively
- Professional, friendly, and confident manner
- Must be able to easily commute to UB2
- Reliable and punctual
- Proactive and self-motivated
- Flexible and adaptable
- Strong problem-solving skills
- Team player with a positive attitude
- Mon-Fri 830-530 (office based)
- £30k DOE
- 21 days holiday plus BH
