Responsibilities
  • Support the Care Home Registered Manager in day-to-day operations and leadership
  • Deputise in the absence of the Nursing Home Manager
  • Act as clinical lead for nursing and care practice
  • Lead on clinical governance, audits, and quality improvement as a Senior Nurse / Nurse Manager
  • Ensure delivery of high-quality care for older people
  • Support, motivate, and develop a diverse staff team
About you
  • Registered General Nurse (RGN) or Registered Mental Health Nurse (RMN)
  • Experience working in a nursing or care home for older people
  • Proven leadership experience as a care home deputy manager or in a similar role
  • Strong clinical knowledge and understanding of best practice in elderly care
  • Confident senior nurse with excellent communication and people-management skills
  • Experience leading teams and driving high standards of care
  • Passionate about delivering outstanding care and supporting staff development
Qualifications
  • NMC pin / Nurse qualification - RGN / RMN
  • Level 5 Diploma in Health and Social Care Management (desirable)
  • Degree or postgraduate qualification in health and social care (desirable)
