Salary

£27,500 - £30,000 per annum (dependent on experience) + benefits

Working Hours & Shift Pattern
  • Full-time position
  • Monday to Friday working pattern
  • Shifts scheduled within nursery operating hours

Job Description

As a Nursery Practitioner, you will play a key role within a welcoming nursery setting, supporting children's early development through engaging, play-based learning in line with EYFS principles. This setting offers a nurturing and stimulating environment where children are encouraged to explore, learn, and grow with confidence. Located in Sunningdale, Berkshire (SL5), the nursery provides a supportive team culture with a strong focus on quality care, creativity, and continuous development. This role is ideal for a passionate early years professional who thrives in a collaborative environment and is committed to delivering high-quality childcare.

Key Responsibilities
  • Support the day-to-day running of the nursery room
  • Plan and deliver engaging activities aligned with EYFS
  • Monitor and record children's development and progressProvide a safe, nurturing, and inclusive learning environment
  • Build positive relationships with children, parents, and colleagues
  • Support children's emotional wellbeing and development
  • Maintain high standards of safeguarding and health & safety
  • Work collaboratively with the wider nursery team
  • Ensure accurate record-keeping and documentation
  • Promote positive behaviour and development outcomes
Requirements
  • Right to work in the UK (no sponsorship available)
  • Level 3 qualification in Early Years (or equivalent)
  • Previous experience working within a nursery setting
  • Strong knowledge of EYFS framework and early years development
  • Ability to deliver high-quality childcare and learning experiences
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Confident working both independently and within a team
