As a Nursery Practitioner, you will play a key role within a welcoming nursery setting, supporting children's early development through engaging, play-based learning in line with EYFS principles. This setting offers a nurturing and stimulating environment where children are encouraged to explore, learn, and grow with confidence. Located in Sunningdale, Berkshire (SL5), the nursery provides a supportive team culture with a strong focus on quality care, creativity, and continuous development. This role is ideal for a passionate early years professional who thrives in a collaborative environment and is committed to delivering high-quality childcare.
Key Responsibilities- Support the day-to-day running of the nursery room
- Plan and deliver engaging activities aligned with EYFS
- Monitor and record children's development and progressProvide a safe, nurturing, and inclusive learning environment
- Build positive relationships with children, parents, and colleagues
- Support children's emotional wellbeing and development
- Maintain high standards of safeguarding and health & safety
- Work collaboratively with the wider nursery team
- Ensure accurate record-keeping and documentation
- Promote positive behaviour and development outcomes
- Right to work in the UK (no sponsorship available)
- Level 3 qualification in Early Years (or equivalent)
- Previous experience working within a nursery setting
- Strong knowledge of EYFS framework and early years development
- Ability to deliver high-quality childcare and learning experiences
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Confident working both independently and within a team
