Nursery Nurse Harpenden

Responsibilities

• Support the learning and development of children in line with the EYFS framework
• Plan and deliver age-appropriate activities
• Ensure a safe, secure, and inclusive environment for all children
• Monitor and record children's progress and development
• Build positive relationships with children, parents, and colleagues
• Assist with daily routines, including meals, hygiene, and playtime
• Always follow safeguarding and health & safety procedures

Experience

• Experience working in a nursery or early years setting
• Knowledge of the EYFS framework
• Experience supporting children aged 0-5 years - desirable
• Suitable for both newly qualified and experienced Nursery Nurses

Educational requirements

• Level 2 or Level 3 qualification in Childcare/Early Years (or equivalent)
• GCSEs (or equivalent) in English and Maths - desirable
• Paediatric First Aid (or willingness to obtain)
• Safeguarding training (or willingness to undertake)
