Job Description

Nuclear FE Analyst - UK (BS1) - 6 Months

We are supporting a leading international engineering company in the delivery of advanced structural analysis for major nuclear projects, including Hinkley Point C (HPC) and Sizewell C (SZC).

The role focuses on finite element analysis (FEA) of reinforced concrete structures within a highly regulated environment.

Perform finite element analysis (FEA) of complex reinforced concrete structures
static and dynamic loads
seismic conditions
Develop and validate structural models using FEM tools
Contribute to methodology development and internal tools improvement
Support multidisciplinary engineering teams
Provide technical guidance and mentoring to junior analysts
Participate in technical reviews and project coordination

Profile :

Degree in Civil / Structural Engineering
Minimum 8years of experience in structural analysis
Strong experience in:
- reinforced concrete structures
- FEM / FEA modelling
Proficiency in:
- ANSYS (or equivalent FEM software)
Experience in:
- large infrastructure projects
- nuclear or highly regulated environments (UK preferred)
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
