Job Description
Nuclear FE Analyst - UK (BS1) - 6 Months

We are supporting a leading international engineering company in the delivery of advanced structural analysis for major nuclear projects, including Hinkley Point C (HPC) and Sizewell C (SZC).

The role focuses on finite element analysis (FEA) of reinforced concrete structures within a highly regulated environment.

  • Perform finite element analysis (FEA) of complex reinforced concrete structures
  • static and dynamic loads
  • seismic conditions
  • Develop and validate structural models using FEM tools
  • Contribute to methodology development and internal tools improvement
  • Support multidisciplinary engineering teams
  • Provide technical guidance and mentoring to junior analysts
  • Participate in technical reviews and project coordination
Profile :
  • Degree in Civil / Structural Engineering
  • Minimum 8years of experience in structural analysis
  • Strong experience in:
    • reinforced concrete structures
    • FEM / FEA modelling
  • Proficiency in:
    • ANSYS (or equivalent FEM software)
  • Experience in:
    • large infrastructure projects
    • nuclear or highly regulated environments (UK preferred)
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
