Job Description

An excellent opportunity has arisen for a Newly Qualified Real Estate Solicitor (or Solicitor with up to 2 years PQE) to join a highly regarded and growing regional law firm in Hull.

This is an ideal role for an ambitious solicitor looking to build their career within an established and supportive Real Estate team, working alongside experienced professionals on a varied, high-quality caseload spanning both commercial and agricultural property.

The Opportunity:

You'll advise a diverse range of clients across a broad spectrum of real estate matters, with the opportunity to work on high net-worth transactions and increasingly complex commercial property work.

Your workload is likely to include:

  • Freehold and leasehold sales and purchases
  • Higher value and complex transactions, including portfolio sales and purchases
  • Commercial landlord and tenant matters, including leases and licences to assign, underlet and alter
  • S106 planning agreements
  • Site set-up work for residential development sites
  • Supporting Partners and other fee earners on larger development and complex commercial property matters
  • Dealing with client enquiries and ensuring complaints are handled professionally and promptly
  • Working in accordance with the Solicitors Accounts Rules and maintaining a strong understanding of client account obligations

You'll benefit from working closely with experienced Partners and fee earners, while taking on increasing levels of responsibility and developing your expertise across a broad range of real estate matters.

About You:
  • Newly Qualified (NQ) Solicitors or have up to 2 years PQE
  • Have experience or a strong interest in Real Estate / Commercial Property
  • Have excellent communication and drafting skills
  • Enjoy building strong client relationships
  • Are commercially minded with a proactive and practical approach
  • Can work confidently both autonomously and as part of a team
  • Have excellent organisational skills and attention to detail
  • Are ambitious and keen to develop their career within a leading regional practice
