We are currently looking for a reliable, proactive, and customer-focused Night Porter to join the team at Dalmeny Park House Hotel. This hands-on role is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced hospitality environment and takes pride in delivering exceptional guest experiences. As Night Porter, you will play a key role in ensuring the smooth running of the hotel during overnight hours, maintaining high standards of service, safety, and presentation at all times.

What You'll Be Doing:- Setting up wedding and event spaces for weddings, conferences, and special occasions.
- Assisting guests with late check-ins and check-outs, responding promptly to requests and enquiries.
- Carrying out regular security and safety checks throughout the hotel to ensure guest wellbeing.
- Assisting with luggage, deliveries, and maintaining a clean, organised, and welcoming environment.
- Providing bar service during the night shift in a friendly and professional manner.
- Completing night audit procedures and balancing daily financial records accurately.
- Reporting maintenance issues, incidents, or security concerns to the appropriate departments.
- Supporting other departments where required to ensure smooth overnight operations.
- Previous experience in a similar hospitality or hotel role is preferred.
- Strong customer service and communication skills, with a friendly and approachable manner.
- Ability to work independently, use initiative, and remain calm under pressure.
- Flexible and reliable, with availability to work night shifts, weekends, and holidays.
- Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving abilities.
- Professional presentation and a strong work ethic.
- Applicants must be 18 years of age or older.
- A valid driver's licence and access to your own transport is desirable due to shift times.
