Night Porter Dalmeny Park House Hotel Part-Time (23 Hours)

We are currently looking for a reliable, proactive, and customer-focused Night Porter to join the team at Dalmeny Park House Hotel. This hands-on role is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced hospitality environment and takes pride in delivering exceptional guest experiences. As Night Porter, you will play a key role in ensuring the smooth running of the hotel during overnight hours, maintaining high standards of service, safety, and presentation at all times.

What You'll Be Doing:
  • Setting up wedding and event spaces for weddings, conferences, and special occasions.
  • Assisting guests with late check-ins and check-outs, responding promptly to requests and enquiries.
  • Carrying out regular security and safety checks throughout the hotel to ensure guest wellbeing.
  • Assisting with luggage, deliveries, and maintaining a clean, organised, and welcoming environment.
  • Providing bar service during the night shift in a friendly and professional manner.
  • Completing night audit procedures and balancing daily financial records accurately.
  • Reporting maintenance issues, incidents, or security concerns to the appropriate departments.
  • Supporting other departments where required to ensure smooth overnight operations.
What We're Looking For:
  • Previous experience in a similar hospitality or hotel role is preferred.
  • Strong customer service and communication skills, with a friendly and approachable manner.
  • Ability to work independently, use initiative, and remain calm under pressure.
  • Flexible and reliable, with availability to work night shifts, weekends, and holidays.
  • Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving abilities.
  • Professional presentation and a strong work ethic.
  • Applicants must be 18 years of age or older.
  • A valid driver's licence and access to your own transport is desirable due to shift times.
