Position: Motor Vehicle MOT Tester

Cars2 are a highly successful motor retailer based in West and South Yorkshire. We have grown extensively in recent years and now represent several of the world's leading motor brands including Hyundai, SEAT, Renault, Dacia, Fiat, Abarth, MG, OMODA and Nissan.

Location: Wakefield Area, West and South Yorkshire.

Hours: Monday to Friday 8:30 am 5 pm, alternate Saturday mornings.

Responsibilities

• Conduct MOT testing and diagnostics on vehicles.
• Accurately assess vehicle conditions and troubleshoot issues.
• Use electronic VHC process for testing.
• Follow written and verbal instructions.

Qualifications

• MOT testing certificate (mandatory).
• Experience in a franchised dealership (preferable but not essential).
• Attention to detail with the ability to work accurately.
• Strong problem solving skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with a customer service focus.
• Initiative and independence in work.
• Current knowledge of vehicle developments, engine types and electronics.
• Awareness of health and safety regulations.
