Our client, a reputable independent service centre based in Glastonbury, is seeking a skilled and experienced Vehicle Technician/MOT Tester to join their busy workshop team. Duties of a Vehicle Technician/MOT Tester:

Conduct MOT tests in accordance with Ministry standards
Diagnose vehicle faults accurately and efficiently
Perform maintenance, repairs, and servicing on various vehicle makes and models
Identify safety, reliability, and performance issues, reporting findings to the Business Owner
Adhere to health and safety regulations and quality standards at all times
Assist at the front reception desk with customer enquiries, providing excellent customer service
Maintain accurate records of work carried out and required follow-ups
Support workshop operations to ensure smooth daily running

Requirements of a Vehicle Technician/MOT Tester:

Proven experience as a Vehicle Technician/MOT Tester
Valid MOT licence is essential; s with a full UK driving licence with minimal points will be considered
Live within a reasonable commuting distance of Glastonbury
Excellent diagnostic skills and attention to detail
Friendly, approachable manner with good communication skills
Ability to produce high-quality work within designated time frames
