Our client, a reputable independent service centre based in Glastonbury, is seeking a skilled and experienced Vehicle Technician/MOT Tester to join their busy workshop team. Duties of a Vehicle Technician/MOT Tester:
  • Conduct MOT tests in accordance with Ministry standards
  • Diagnose vehicle faults accurately and efficiently
  • Perform maintenance, repairs, and servicing on various vehicle makes and models
  • Identify safety, reliability, and performance issues, reporting findings to the Business Owner
  • Adhere to health and safety regulations and quality standards at all times
  • Assist at the front reception desk with customer enquiries, providing excellent customer service
  • Maintain accurate records of work carried out and required follow-ups
  • Support workshop operations to ensure smooth daily running
Requirements of a Vehicle Technician/MOT Tester:
  • Proven experience as a Vehicle Technician/MOT Tester
  • Valid MOT licence is essential; s with a full UK driving licence with minimal points will be considered
  • Live within a reasonable commuting distance of Glastonbury
  • Excellent diagnostic skills and attention to detail
  • Friendly, approachable manner with good communication skills
  • Ability to produce high-quality work within designated time frames
