Job Description
Hourly rate: 
£12.71 - £13.50 per hour depending on experience.
Hours:39 hours per week
Role Highlights:This role will accurately assemble and despatch moorings systems for the Aquaculture, Leisure and Commercial marine industries to the required standards.
Key Responsibilities:- Completing incoming Quality assurance checks to ensure highest quality.
- Read and understand all special instructions provided prior to starting a job and seeking clarity with the Moorings Manager as required.
- To pick, measure cut and splice ropes accurately to construct moorings components (splicing training will be given)
- To accurately pick hardware, chain, shackles, thimbles etc whilst maintaining correct stock rotation.
- To load any despatches using plant accurately and safely as permitted.
- Assisting in the accuracy of stock and carrying out stock checks when required.
- Assisting in other departments when required to ensure smooth overall operations
- Maintaining a tidy organised environment at all times.
- Ability to concentrate under pressure
- Ability to work without supervision
- Ability to follow procedures:
- Putting stock away
- Picking stock correctly whilst maintaining correct stock rotation
- Making up and despatching orders
- Counterbalance and/or Telescopic forklift certificate
- Abrasive wheel certificate
- Cutting torch experience
- Working in a warehouse environment
- Rope splicing experience
- Manual handling training
- Annual leave commences at 31 days per annum, increasing with length of service
