Midweight Interior Architect / CAD Technician (Freelance)

Location: Southwest London
Rate: £200 - £240 per day (Dependent Upon Experience)

As their team continues to grow, they are now looking for a talented and experienced Midweight Interior Architect or CAD Technician to deliver exciting luxury residential projects in London.

This opportunity would be ideal for a Midweight Interior Architect or experienced CAD Technician who is an expert in AutoCAD and great on Technical

Package:

  • Rate: £200 - £240 per day (Dependent Upon Experience)

Office:

  • Southwest London Office
  • Full time Monday to Friday, 9:00 am - 5:30 pm

Duties:

  • Produce detailed and accurate drawing packages using AutoCAD (plans, elevations, sections, joinery, RCPs, and finishes)
  • Translate design intent into technical drawings suitable for tender and construction
  • Support the design team during the technical stages of projects, from design development to on-site coordination
  • Liaise with consultants, suppliers, and contractors to ensure design intent is realised
  • Maintain drawing standards and contribute to efficient documentation workflows
  • Assist with occasional site visits and technical reviews if required

Requirements:

  • Minimum 3 years' experience in industry
  • Degree in Interior Architecture, Interior Design, or related discipline
  • Advanced AutoCAD skills essential
  • Comfortable reading and producing complex drawing sets
  • Strong technical knowledge of interior detailing, joinery, and construction methods
  • Good communication and organisation skills
  • Experience with SketchUp, InDesign, and Photoshop a plus
