We are looking to add a Mental Health Nurse to our team to provide high-quality care, support, and therapeutic strategies to children and young people with complex emotional, behavioural, and mental health needs. You will work alongside an in-house psychotherapist to provide a well rounded holistic, therapeutic environment.
What can you expect as part of your role?- Facilitate and complete mental health assessments and collaboratively develop, implement, and review evidence-based care plans, ensuring they are regularly updated and reflect the child's changing needs.

- Work collaboratively with the in-house therapist, providing guidance, advice, and reflective spaces to residential staff when managing and responding to challenging behaviour.
- Establish trusting, therapeutic relationships with young people to encourage engagement.
- Creating a Safe Environment: Facilitate a nurturing, stable environment where young people feel safe and can build trust, focusing on trauma responsive care in line with the therapeutic model and framework of Aspris.
- Qualification: Registered Mental Health Nurse (RMN) with active NMC registration.
- Experience: Experience working with children and young people experiencing severe emotional, behavioural, and mental health difficulties (SEMH). Experience of working with young people who rely on self-harm and suicide behaviours.
