Medical Rostering Coordinator

The closing date is 20 March 2026

At present, University Hospitals of North Midlands is unable to offer visa sponsorship for Band 2 to Band 4 roles, as these positions do not meet the minimum salary and skill thresholds required under UK Visas and Immigration (UKVI) regulations.

To work within the Medical Workforce Team supporting a quality medical Deployment service for the Trust. Supporting the Divisional rostering coordinators, processing in accordance with Trust Policy and Procedures the doctor rota gaps, recording of resignation, swaps, absence and sickness and booking internal Bank doctors and Agency doctors as requested by medical departments.

Main duties of the job
  • Ensure that the e-Rostering system has the correct rota templates against each roster.
  • Align doctors to rosters for each new starter and rotational post.
  • Managing the live rosters.
  • Manage swaps, sickness and absence recording on the e-Rostering system.
  • Managing Medical rota gaps including securing the recruitment of medical bank staff and temporary staffing solutions in conjunction with senior medical staff.
  • Run monthly reports for the Directorate management team and medical workforce team.
