The company:You will be joining a market-leading manufacturing business specialising in the production of a wide range of equipment and components used in the aerospace, defence and industrial industries.
The Mechanical Project Manager will be part of a small team involved in a range of projects, overseeing full life cycles through design, construction, installation, commissioning and handover while ensuring the key deliverables of cost, time and performance are met.

Essential duties and responsibilities:

Manage and lead a variety of projects within a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

Work with a range of other teams within the business, from sales, design, shop floor and more.

Work with stakeholders through effective communication and leadership.

Creating and maintaining mechanical specifications, drawings and documentation; tender analysis and validation; design and construction review; commissioning and handover.

Management of project timelines, ensuring all tasks are completed before deadlines.

Budget management

Skills and Experience required:

Recognised Mechanical Engineering Degree or equivalent

Project engineering experience in a manufacturing or process environment

Experience including design and specification of industrial chemical processes or similar

AUTOCAD or Inventor CAD experience required

A well-organised person who can manage multiple tasks and deadlines at one time.

Ability to oversee and manage full project lifecycle.
