Job Description
We're looking for an experienced Mechanical Maintenance Engineer to join our well-established manufacturing client in Nottingham. You'll be part of a small, hands on team responsible for keeping the site running smoothly - fixing everything from production machinery to general maintenance jobs.
What you'll be doing- Carrying out planned and reactive maintenance across the site
- Diagnosing and repairing mechanical faults, hydraulics and belt systems
- Handling general site maintenance - anything from fixing machines to toilet repairs when needed
- Responding quickly to breakdowns and ensuring downtime is kept to a minimum
- Days: 7am-4pm (Mon-Thurs) / 7am-12pm (Fri)
- Afternoons: 2pm-10pm (Mon-Thurs) / 12pm-4pm (Fri)
- Shift rotation - Days & Afternoons
- Experienced Mechanical Engineer - time served in a similar manufacturing environment
- Confident working with hydraulics, belts and general mechanical systems is a must
- Hands on approach with good problem solving skills
- Must have own transport
- Willing to do what is needed for the site to remain operational/functional
- Reliable, hands on and flexible
