Mechanical Maintenance Engineer

We're looking for an experienced Mechanical Maintenance Engineer to join our well-established manufacturing client in Nottingham. You'll be part of a small, hands on team responsible for keeping the site running smoothly - fixing everything from production machinery to general maintenance jobs.

• Carrying out planned and reactive maintenance across the site
• Diagnosing and repairing mechanical faults, hydraulics and belt systems
• Handling general site maintenance - anything from fixing machines to toilet repairs when needed
• Responding quickly to breakdowns and ensuring downtime is kept to a minimum

• Days: 7am-4pm (Mon-Thurs) / 7am-12pm (Fri)
• Afternoons: 2pm-10pm (Mon-Thurs) / 12pm-4pm (Fri)
• Shift rotation - Days & Afternoons

• Experienced Mechanical Engineer - time served in a similar manufacturing environment
• Confident working with hydraulics, belts and general mechanical systems is a must
• Hands on approach with good problem solving skills
• Must have own transport
• Willing to do what is needed for the site to remain operational/functional
• Reliable, hands on and flexible
