Are you a Mechanical Design Engineer looking to work on a wide variety of projects, from bespoke equipment through to large-scale automation systems?

We're currently hiring for a Mechanical Design Engineer to join a growing engineering team delivering high-quality solutions across multiple industries. If you enjoy designing equipment that actually gets built, working closely with the workshop, and being involved from concept through to installation, this is a great opportunity to build your experience on diverse and technically interesting projects.

Headquartered just 5 minutes outside Sligo town, they provide engineering and automation solutions to industries including Food & Beverage, Pharmaceutical, Manufacturing, Automotive, and Medical Devices.

With a strong pipeline of work ranging from smaller bespoke builds to large-scale projects, and a significant increase in demand, they are continuing to expand - making this an excellent time to join a busy and growing team.

• Design of automation equipment using SolidWorks
• Producing manufacturing drawings and BOMs
• Working closely with the workshop team during build and assembly
• Supporting projects from concept through to installation and commissioning
• Liaising with electrical and controls engineers

• Degree in Mechanical Engineering or similar
• 3-5 years' experience in mechanical design
• Strong SolidWorks
• Good understanding of materials and assembly
• Practical, hands on mindset
