Are you a Mechanical Design Engineer looking to work on a wide variety of projects, from bespoke equipment through to large-scale automation systems?
We're currently hiring for a Mechanical Design Engineer to join a growing engineering team delivering high-quality solutions across multiple industries. If you enjoy designing equipment that actually gets built, working closely with the workshop, and being involved from concept through to installation, this is a great opportunity to build your experience on diverse and technically interesting projects.

Headquartered just 5 minutes outside Sligo town, they provide engineering and automation solutions to industries including Food & Beverage, Pharmaceutical, Manufacturing, Automotive, and Medical Devices.

The Role- Design of automation equipment using SolidWorks
- Producing manufacturing drawings and BOMs
- Working closely with the workshop team during build and assembly
- Supporting projects from concept through to installation and commissioning
- Liaising with electrical and controls engineers
- Degree in Mechanical Engineering or similar
- 3-5 years' experience in mechanical design
- Strong SolidWorks
- Good understanding of materials and assembly
- Practical, hands on mindset
