Your New RoleAs a Mechanical Design Engineer, you will be responsible for the mechanical design of water and wastewater projects in line with client specifications. Your duties will include producing process, coordinating and developing 3D models, and generating general arrangement drawings, sections, and elevations. You will also be involved in pump calculations, equipment schedules, and the creation of technical specifications and fabrication detail drawings.
What You Will Need to SucceedTo succeed in this role, you should hold a mechanical engineering qualification (HNC/HND or equivalent) and have at least four years of experience in a similar mechanical design role. You will have experience working within a multidisciplinary design team and be proficient in 3D modelling software. Experience with commercial aspects of M&E works and analytical techniques such as FMEA or Lean would also be advantageous.
