Job Description

Ultimate Products (Leading Retail Consumer Goods Brand House and PLC business) is currently experiencing fantastic success off the back of our branded strategy and has seen turnover rise to almost £200m in just 3 years. The company is on an ambitious plan to triple our turnover in the next 5-10 years with the long-term aspirations to be a £1bn organisation. We are seeking dynamic individuals to join our European sales team and contribute to our ambitious growth plans.


Already established as a major supply partner to retailers including Amazon, Tesco, Asda, B&M, and Sainsbury and European retailers including Action, Lidl, Aldi and Kaufland, we are now aggressively expanding across major European markets. With thriving operations in the UK, Germany, and Holland, and strong partnerships with key retailers in these regions, we've also made significant strides in France, with the opening of our impressive 10,000 square foot mega showroom, strategically located near Charles De Gaulle Airport at the JJA Business Complex on the outskirts of Paris.


We have innovative product ranges under well-known brands like SALTER, BELDRAY, PROGRESS, PETRA and RUSSELL HOBBS, a fully implemented supply chain infrastructure capable of servicing the biggest retailers in Europe and the senior management team with ambition to be the best European Supplier to retail. Now we need suitably experienced and ambitious people to join this new chapter of the company.


As a result, we are looking to expand our European Sales team by hiring experienced sales professionals. For this position, we are specifically seeking an Account Manager with strong knowledge of, and established relationships with, key E-Commerce Marketplace .


The Job Duties

  • To use existing customer knowledge to seek opportunities and grow business with across multiple product categories
  • To promote and sell a wide variety of Branded Consumer Goods to in order to generate large volume orders. Products can include Housewares, Small Domestic Appliances and Laundry & Cleaning
  • To manage the account to build strong relationships and repeated business
  • To share market knowledge and customer retail insight with the company, our product teams and senior management
  • To manage other key European customer accounts and grow the business across multiple product categories
  • To attend trade shows and exhibitions throughout the world
  • To attend key customer meetings at our showrooms in Paris, Manchester (UK), China (Guangzhou), Holland and Hong Kong as required


What you need

  • At least 3 years' experience of completing a similar sales, account management role where you have developed business and achieved sales with (in excess of €5m per year)
  • To have knowledge and experience of account managing , understanding their requirements and buying processes
  • To have established relationships with key contacts at
  • To be able to competently communicate in languages including English and Dutch
  • To have a willingness to travel around Europe and Asia as required
  • Excellent presentation and IT skills
  • Drive, ambition and determination to succeed
