Market Operative & Driver

From £13.50 per hour (Min of 3 hours pay, per shift)

CJ's Events Warwickshire is a family-run business dedicated to supporting, promoting, creating, and managing events throughout Warwickshire and across the UK. We pride ourselves on making every event special, from large public gatherings to local markets.

We operate markets throughout Warwickshire and the wider region.

Overtime available on a monthly basis.

Hours of Work (You are paid a minimum of 3 hours per shift)

• Fridays - 16:00hrs - 18:00hrs
• Saturdays - 16:00hrs - 18:00hrs

This role is to drive trailers to locations and build/take down our markets - this is a very manual job.

Responsibilities

• Collect & Drive trailers in a safe manner to and from market locations
• Carry out vehicle and trailer checks
• Ensure trailers are loaded with the correct equipment
• Erect and dismantle market stalls efficiently and safely
• Set up stalls according to site layouts and guidelines
• Assist with loading and unloading stall equipment
• Maintain cleanliness and organisation of event areas

• Physically fit with the ability to lift and move heavy items regularly
• Previous experience in a similar role or manual labour is essential
• Flexible availability - early mornings, late evenings, weekends, and holidays may be required
• Strong communication skills and a team-player attitude
• Reliable and punctual, with a strong work ethic
• Comfortable working outdoors in all weather conditions
• Proactive approach with a focus on safety and efficiency
• A clean UK driving licence is required; trailer towing experience is an advantage
