Maritime System Engineer

Location: Bristol

We have a fantastic opportunity for a Maritime Systems Engineer to join a dynamic company and team based in Bristol. If you have experience in systems engineering, particularly with MBSE, SysML, Rhapsody, or UML, and a passion for validation, certification, or verification, this could be an ideal opportunity for you.

This role offers the chance to work on a high-profile defence programme, providing through-life support and ensuring the highest standards of safety, security, and reliability. You will be involved in product validation, certification of system changes, and model-based systems engineering, supporting both UK and international customers.

Key responsibilities include:

• Applying system engineering best practices, including Model-Based System Engineering (MBSE)
• Utilising Rhapsody for system modelling and design verification
• Managing requirements with tools like DOORS
• Developing and reviewing engineering documentation
• Supporting in-service system support queries and product certification processes

We are looking for someone who is a proactive team player with a 'can-do' attitude, capable of challenging processes constructively to improve outcomes. An engineering degree or equivalent and experience in delivering engineering products are essential. Skills in requirements management and configuration control will serve you well in this role.
