Manufacturing Shift Lead

Terumo Aortic have an excellent opportunity for a Manufacturing Shift Lead to join our team on a 6-month secondment opportunity, leading a team of highly experienced operators during a time of growth and investment across our business and site. The main responsibilities of the role are;

• Manage area resource capacity in-line to meet daily/weekly targets
• Support short term changes, utilising resources to maintain efficiency
• Provide daily update to meet with SIM reporting metrics
• Monitor the monthly cost performance to plan, highlight variances
• Timely report accidents and hazards.
• Monitor accidents and hazards to identify trends
• Timely review of COSSH and Risk Assessments to reflect current regulations
• Manufacture all products in-line with quality requirements
• Support Operational improvements activities
• Deliver daily communication to all staff
• Complete Performance Management Reviews in line with annual schedule
• Provide Leadership, development & training needs to direct team
• Demonstrate and promote company core value

The successful candidate will possess;

• Experience of operating within a manufacturing environment
• Experienced in leading teams from a production environment
• Excellent communication skills
• Proficient in Microsoft Office
• High level of documentation management (GDP & cGMP)
• Experience in 5's; Continuous Improvement / Lean Manufacturing
