Job SummaryThe Ireland Manufacturing team is actively seeking a Manufacturing Manager to support the establishment of production at our Ireland factory.
Responsibilities- Plan, coordinate, and control manufacturing processes to ensure products are delivered on time and within budget.
- Lead, mentor, and develop production staff to achieve operational goals and maintain a positive work environment aligned with Dexcom's desired behaviours.
- Address people's performance issues and resolve conflicts as they arise.
- Monitor production KPIs and implement continuous improvement initiatives to optimize productivity and reduce waste.
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and company policies at all times.
- Collaborate with quality assurance, maintenance, and supply chain teams to resolve issues and support smooth operations.
- Prepare and manage production schedules, resource allocation, and inventory levels.
- Analyze production data and prepare regular reports for senior management.
- Drive implementation of lean manufacturing principles and best practices.
- Apply technical knowledge to help resolve manufacturing challenges.
- High school diploma or equivalent required; bachelor's degree preferred.
- 8-12 years of experience in the manufacturing industry and 2-5 years of prior team management experience.
- Proficiency in manufacturing operations, equipment, and health & safety requirements.
- Strong analytical and problem solving skills and ability to apply lean manufacturing principles.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to lead cross functional teams.
- Ability to manage budgets, control costs, and optimize resource utilisation.
- Adaptability to changing production demands with a strong focus on continuous improvement.
- Experience in CEL manufacturing.
- Automation environment experience.
- Medical device industry background.
- Experience with start up and scale up organisations.
- Experience in a Digital Factory setting.
- Six Sigma Black Belt certification.
