Job Summary

The Ireland Manufacturing team is actively seeking a Manufacturing Manager to support the establishment of production at our Ireland factory.

Responsibilities
  • Plan, coordinate, and control manufacturing processes to ensure products are delivered on time and within budget.
  • Lead, mentor, and develop production staff to achieve operational goals and maintain a positive work environment aligned with Dexcom's desired behaviours.
  • Address people's performance issues and resolve conflicts as they arise.
  • Monitor production KPIs and implement continuous improvement initiatives to optimize productivity and reduce waste.
  • Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and company policies at all times.
  • Collaborate with quality assurance, maintenance, and supply chain teams to resolve issues and support smooth operations.
  • Prepare and manage production schedules, resource allocation, and inventory levels.
  • Analyze production data and prepare regular reports for senior management.
  • Drive implementation of lean manufacturing principles and best practices.
  • Apply technical knowledge to help resolve manufacturing challenges.
Qualifications
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; bachelor's degree preferred.
  • 8-12 years of experience in the manufacturing industry and 2-5 years of prior team management experience.
  • Proficiency in manufacturing operations, equipment, and health & safety requirements.
  • Strong analytical and problem solving skills and ability to apply lean manufacturing principles.
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to lead cross functional teams.
  • Ability to manage budgets, control costs, and optimize resource utilisation.
  • Adaptability to changing production demands with a strong focus on continuous improvement.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience in CEL manufacturing.
  • Automation environment experience.
  • Medical device industry background.
  • Experience with start up and scale up organisations.
  • Experience in a Digital Factory setting.
  • Six Sigma Black Belt certification.
