Manufacturing Engineer - Stamford, UK

Main Purpose of the JobThis role is responsible for ensuring the production of high-quality products within our busy operations, fostering a right-first-time culture. The position involves supporting operations and improving all aspects of production through lean methodologies in collaboration with stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities- Provide manufacturing input into the NPI process.
- Evaluate and troubleshoot manufacturing processes.
- Conduct practical problem-solving activities across functions to identify root causes, develop solutions, and lead implementation to eliminate waste and enhance productivity.
- Support the business in maintaining a right-first-time culture.
- Facilitate engineering change requests between production and engineering teams.
- HNC in Engineering or equivalent.
- 2+ years of related experience.
- Working knowledge of manufacturing processes.
- Understanding of manufacturing documentation such as SOPs and job instructions.
- Data-driven decision-making skills.
- Good time management and organizational skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills at all organizational levels.
- Energetic self-starter with strong communication skills, understanding, empathy, and relationship-building ability.
- Enthusiastic about implementing process improvements.
- Passionate about continuous improvement.
