Job Description
You'll support the Finance Director directly and take ownership of management accounting across a group of 14 companies. This role suits someone confident, organised, and experienced in multi entity accounting, fixed assets, and fleet related finance

Description
Key Responsibilities
Management Accounting
- Prepare monthly management accounts across multiple entities
- Ownership of journals, accruals, and prepayments
- Maintain and reconcile fixed asset registers
- Support cost centre reporting and monthly packs
Fleet & Fixed Assets
- Manage accounting for a fleet of 6,000 vehicles
- Handle HP agreements and associated accounting
- Ensure accurate tracking and reporting of fixed assets
Statutory & Financial Reporting
- Assist in drafting statutory accounts
- Support year-end processes and external audit
Systems & Process
- Work with Accounts IQ (new system implementation)
- Use strong IT skills to streamline reporting and processes
Profile
- Strong management accounting background
- Confident with fixed assets, journals, and multi-entity reporting
- Experience drafting statutory accounts
- IT-savvy and comfortable with new systems
- Able to work independently and take ownership
- Strong communicator who can work closely with the FD
