What will you do?

As a Maintenance Technician, you ensure that all production equipment and systems operate reliably and efficiently. You work as part of a dedicated technical team, focusing on maintenance, troubleshooting, and process improvements in a hygiene-sensitive and automated environment.

This includes:

• Troubleshooting and resolving mechanical and electrical faults;
• Performing both preventive and corrective maintenance on production and packaging lines;
• Working with various systems including pneumatics, hydraulics, mechanical installations, and PLCs;
• Documenting maintenance activities and learning from recurring issues;
• Contributing ideas for long-term improvements and technical optimizations;
• Ensuring compliance with safety and hygiene standards in a food-grade facility.

What do you bring?

• A completed MBO level 4 (EQF level 4) technical education in Mechatronics, Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or similar
• At least 2 years of experience in a technical role, ideally in a production or food environment;
• Knowledge of hydraulics, pneumatics, mechanical and electrical systems;
• Willingness to work in shifts and participate in on-call rotations (must live in the Nijmegen-Arnhem region);
• A structured and proactive mindset - you know how to prioritize and solve problems under pressure;
• Good communication skills in English.
