Maintenance Technician
Are you technically skilled, solution-oriented, and ready for a new challenge in a modern food production environment? What will you do?
As a Maintenance Technician, you ensure that all production equipment and systems operate reliably and efficiently. You work as part of a dedicated technical team, focusing on maintenance, troubleshooting, and process improvements in a hygiene-sensitive and automated environment.
This includes:
- Troubleshooting and resolving mechanical and electrical faults;
- Performing both preventive and corrective maintenance on production and packaging lines;
- Working with various systems including pneumatics, hydraulics, mechanical installations, and PLCs;
- Documenting maintenance activities and learning from recurring issues;
- Contributing ideas for long-term improvements and technical optimizations;
- Ensuring compliance with safety and hygiene standards in a food-grade facility.
What do you bring?
- A completed MBO level 4 (EQF level 4) technical education in Mechatronics, Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or similar
- At least 2 years of experience in a technical role, ideally in a production or food environment;
- Knowledge of hydraulics, pneumatics, mechanical and electrical systems;
- Willingness to work in shifts and participate in on-call rotations (must live in the Nijmegen-Arnhem region);
- A structured and proactive mindset - you know how to prioritize and solve problems under pressure;
- Good communication skills in English.
